Hiren R. Patel, MD, is a 1997-graduate of The Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, California. His postgraduate training includes his internal medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School (1997-1998), his radiology residency served at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School (1998-2002), as well as his musculoskeletal imaging fellowship performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Weill Cornell Medical College (2002-2003). Musculoskeletal radiologists are specially trained radiologists who diagnose conditions that affect the bones, joints and soft issues in the extremities. Prior to medical school, he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry at Oberlin College in 1992. Dr. Patel attained board certification in radiology with the American Board of Radiology.
